Cello-piano duo "Monique Heidema - André Telderman" regularly plays concerts with a varied program. The duo increasingly prefer lesser-known stages where a close relationship with the audience is easy to make.
Music connects...
That does not mean there always must be a decent atmosphere or appropriate distance to the audience. Therefore the musicians mostly tell their listeners about the music and composers on the program.
Because Monique and André are playing together for a real long time, their repertoire is enormously extensive. Thereby programs can easily be put together in consultation with the concert organizer.
Together they have performed concerts on many stages. It happened very often that concerts are combined with masterclasses. This setup has proved to be a great succes. These lessons can be for any musician, regardless of age and level, solo or ensemble players.
Besides the Netherlands they were invited to play and teach in Taiwan, Spain, Russia and the Czech Republic. They made a lot of recordings for radio and television.
